For those of you who are unfamiliar with modernism you can read more of it's the movement that came about in the early 20th century—the movement that gave us buildings like Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim Museum (New York City), Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye (France), Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Neue National gallery (Berlin), and many other iconic structures around the world.
Modernist architects believed that form should follow function; they broke down traditional building materials into their simplest forms to create bold and beautiful designs. They were also committed to creating spaces where people could live healthier lives by taking advantage of natural light, fresh air and less crowded living conditions.
Can the price of this art tank really be justified?
If you're looking for a tank that is smaller, more affordable and will last you years, this is not the tank for you. A standard water tank will do just fine. If, however, you want to express your individuality and make a statement with a unique piece of art that also functions as a water tank, then check out the price tag on this work of art.
The price tag on this work of art is so high because it's actually made out of gold-plated stainless steel! That's right—you can't even put paint on it because it's already been painted with 24-karat gold (we guess no one told them about French Manicure).
This means that over time there will be very little wear on the surface when compared to cheaper materials like plastic or aluminum which scratch easily under normal conditions (like when cleaning). This quality makes it an investment worth making if only because its lifespan should be greater than many other alternatives available today.
The new Matzner Tank Pavilion will be a landmark in the historic downtown area of Palm Springs, California. It is expected to draw visitors from around the world and boost tourism. The price tag for this art tank is $12 million, but we all know that it’s worth every penny.
