The tournament will culminate with the final at Lusail Iconic Stadium on 18 December 2022 

The winner of the tournament will automatically qualify for the 2023 FIFA Confederations Cup 

28 of the 32 teams that have qualified are: 

AFC – China PR, India, Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar (hosts), Saudi Arabia, Australia 

CAF – Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia 

CONCACAF – Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, United States 

OFC – New Zealand 

UEFA – Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Croatia, Czech Republic, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Kosovo, Lithuania, Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine
